Application Images (Life Sciences)

SCANCO Medical has more than 30 years experience supporting biomedical research and development, particularly in the field of bone structural analysis. All our microCT systems are calibrated for measurement of biological tissue densities, and powerful 3D analysis routines including distance transformation allow measurement of thickness and separation of features like bone trabeculae and blood vessels. These advanced features are combined in standardized evaluation protocols to make reliable quantitative assessment of biological samples a reality.
